Meet Scruffy! Scruffy is a sweet 3 year old boy who needs his own family. He was found living in a carrier right off Tobacco Road. He was covered in mange (hence the name), underweight, and his nails were very overgrown. We have now fixed all of his health problems. He is very special to us and we are looking for the perfect 'angel' to work with him in a new home. He's very shy and tends to keep to himself especially when new people come over. Scruffy is very low maintenance and doesn't make much noise even when the other dogs bark. He doesn't want to be picked up but will not bite if you try to. Scruffy does great with other dogs (both large and small) and likely would do just fine with cats. We do not recommend him to a home with small children because he is timid. Scruffy uses a doggy door to go outside and take care of potty time. He sleeps in a crate at night and does just fine. Please understand that Scruffy will take a lot of love and paitence to adjust in a new home. Prior timid and small dog experience is recommend. Scruffy is neutered, is UTD on shots, heartworm negative, current on heartworm/flea prevention, and microchipped. An adoption fee of $175 is required.
