Meet Peanut! Peanut is a beautiful boy that needs of paitent home that will give him his second chance! We believe he is a chihuahua mix (with what, we don't know) and is around 2 or 3 years old. Peanut is a very nervous boy that takes some time to trust you. He prefers to stay hidden unless he learns to trust you (especially if you have cookies). Even when backed completely into a corner, Peanut will NOT bite or even show his teeth. We would prefer that he go to a home with no small children as their quick movements may scare him although we do not believe he would ever bit them. Peanut has been around dogs of all sizes and does great with them all. We do not know how he would be with cats but he would likely be ok. Peanut has been negative, is UTD on shots, heartworm negative, current on heartworm/flea prevention, and microchipped. An adoption fee of $175 is required to adopt a dog. An adoption application must be completed and a home check will be done prior to placement.
