*Tiny and Buddy MUST be adopted togther! Tiny is in the first picture and Buddy is in the second.* Meet Tiny & Buddy! Tiny (female) & Buddy (male) are super small, 3 year old chihuahuas who came to us after her breeder no longer wanted to care for them. Tiny only weighs 2 1/2 pounds and Buddy weighs right around 3 pounds. Because of their size, we would prefer them to go to a home without small children. Both are great with other dogs but definaltey stay out of the way when the others start to play rough. They are both doing great with house breaking but will need someone who realizes that their tiny bladders cannot hold it long! They like to be held and snuggled once they get to know you or just walk around the yard with you. Both Tiny and Buddy cannot be left alone in the yard for any amount of time because hawks or other animals could easily pick them up. Previous small dog/chihuahua experience is ideal for their adoption. Right now Tiny has a luxating patella which is common within small dogs and requires surgery to fix. It's a condition in which the knee slips out of the joint and the dog cannot use the leg properly. Tiny will be having surgery very soon to repair the injury and should be as good as new. She and Buddy both will have dentals since their teeth aren't in the greatest of shape. Tiny & Buddy will be spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, current on heartworm/flea prevention, and micro chipped. An adoption fee of $175 for each one of them is required due to their medical expenses. An adoption application must be completed and a home check will be done prior to placement. We do not place 'holds' on any dogs because of past experiences of people not showing up.
