Meet Charlie! Charlie is a sweet boy (around a year old) that came to us after he was caught running a busy street. He had no tags, no microchip, and even after all of our efforts, no owner stepped forward to claim him. But now he is ready for a new start! He is very sweet and does great with both large and small dogs. We think he may be a chihuahua mix with possibly some rat terrier because of his longer legs. He is small but not tiny, around 8 to 10 pounds. He is used to a doggie door for going outside to play and use the bathroom and sleeps in a crate at night. Charlie rides great in a car and will fall right asleep. He is pretty quiet and only seems to bark when the other dogs in the house start to bark. Charlie has been neutered, is UTD on shots, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm/flea prevention, and micro chipped. An adoption fee of $175 is required. An adoption application must be completed and a home check will be done prior to placement. We do not place 'holds' on any dogs because of past experiences of people not showing up.
